We believe that family was created by God.

Families come in all shapes, sizes and colors and your family is there to give you encouragement, challenge and protection. The church is only as strong as its families so we want to partner with your family to help strengthen you and become centered on Jesus.

Engage Kids

Building a strong foundation in Christ.

0-24 Months

We have 2 amazing staff members watching our littlest of friends in the back of Little Arrows Play Café.

2 years to PreK

For our friends just learning about life and faith, we let these little ones play in Little Arrows before having an engaging lesson and craft and a little bit more play time. They will have a staff member and a teacher with them.

K to 2nd Grade

For our young friends, we want them to be a full part of our worshiping family. We invite them to worship with you during the music before being dismissed to go downstairs to Little Arrows with a staff member for some play time fun and an engaging lesson.

3rd to 5th Grade

For our older elementary friends, we invite them to worship in the Ballroom with your family during the music before being dismissed to a class at the back of the ballroom with two of our amazing staff members.

Engage Students

Guiding our teens to gain independence and freedom in Christ.

One of the best ways for building generations of disciples is to connect with people when they are young. Middle and High School students in their formative years build a foundation of discipleship upon which they can lean on in later years of adulthood. Our students will find worship to be engaging and imaginative. You will love worshiping with your older children at Engage. We are building a program designed specifically with Middle School students in mind that will incorporate fun large group events and small group discipleship opportunities. We anticipate conducting mission trips and camps in the summer time as well! Join us as we grow together!

Adulting isn't always easy, either.

Our primary means for connecting with adults is through Home Groups. Home Groups meet, ideally, in the home of one of our members, but we have them all over town on all different nights. We even have some that meet at Little Arrows Play Café – you will want to bring your kids out for that! Engage Newark has a variety of Home Groups available for adults!

Weddings

At the head of the family is the institution of marriage. We believe that marriage is best experienced within the context of the Church as something that was established by God. If you are planning your wedding and would like to get more information regarding a pastor to officiate or pre-marital counseling, just contact us.

Funerals

Funerals are a time when families most intensely feel the need for spiritual guidance. We see them as an opportunity to serve and love those who are connected to our church. It's a time when families need support and love, and it's our job to be there when you need us. If you are interested in more information regarding funeral officiants, participants, or planning, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Counseling & Wellness

While our primary concern is your spiritual health, we know that emotional and physical well-being is an important aspect of life. We offer pastoral counseling through our pastoral staff as well as referrals to Christ-following professional counselors in our area. We also believe in the importance of physical wellness and will help you connect with nutrition and fitness experts if you need help in those areas. Let us know how we can help.
